How to Export Documents in Pipefile
Pipefile makes it simple to export your collected documents directly to your preferred storage integration. Follow the steps below to send your documents to the right place.
Step 1: Open the Request Dashboard
Navigate to the Request Dashboard page where your file request lives. This is where you’ll see the status of your request and manage documents.
Step 2: Click the Export Button
Between the information section and the file list, click the Export button.
This will open a menu showing your connected integrations (such as Google Drive, OneDrive, or Dropbox).
Step 3: Select Your Integration
Choose the integration where you’d like the documents to be sent. If you haven’t connected an integration yet, you’ll be prompted to do so.
Step 4: Choose a Destination Folder
Click Choose Folder to browse through your integration and select the destination folder.
This is where your exported documents will be placed.
Step 5: Organized Export
Pipefile automatically organizes your documents by section or checklist item.
- A folder will be created for each section/checklist item.
- All uploaded documents are placed neatly into the right folders.
This keeps everything structured and easy to find.
Step 6: Receive Confirmation by Email
Once the export is complete, Pipefile will send you an email with a link to the final destination folder. You can click the link to quickly open and review your exported files.
